The Turtle Wax ICE Street Machine of the Year is the most prestigious award in our sport. Now in its 20th year, SMOTY not only offers the biggest prize in the Aussie scene - $15,000 cash and a kick-ass trophy - but it is the ultimate in people power, with the winner being entirely decided by you guys! It doesn’t matter what we think, how much money the owners spent or how they are rated by judges, it all comes down to which car gets the most votes.

How it works:

The staff of Street Machine vote for their favourite cars of 2007-2008 and come up with 16 finalists. To make the cut, cars must be primarily built in Australia and be featured in the last 12 issues of SM. The finalists cover everything from pure street cars to hot rods, elite hall and drag-strip terrors. The rest is up to you!

What you win:

Just by voting, you put yourself in the running for the VIP Summernats experience of a lifetime!
